WEB ANALYST/PROGRAMMER – Blue Shield of California, 6/02- 10/15 Most recent work involves promoting adoption of the company's social networking intranet. This includes training users, architecting departmental spaces and collaborative groups, leading by example for blogs, discussions, polls, news sharing and profile building.
Lead development of intranet applications. A typical project includes: Project management, requirement gathering and definition, application prototyping, development documentation, writing use cases, writing test cases, coordinating QA process, rolling out finished application, measuring success through acceptance testing and metrics analysis. I also develop and maintain Interwoven templates and workflows. Also responsible for web metrics and analysis.
WEB APPLICATION DEVELOPER - Interwoven, 3/01-10/01 Used Teamsite to manage and update a dozen web properties. Updated existing scripts in a variety of programming languages. Converted PERL cgi scripts to be platform-independent. Created LDAP administration tool in PHP. Assisted implementing ATG Dynamo for personalization. Modified existing scripts for globalization project. Setup Web analysis system for tracking usage.

WEB DEVELOPER - Sega.com (heat.net), 2/00-6/00 Worked mostly as a bug fixer during the relaunch of heat.net, a database driven, html templated on-line gaming web site. Implemented the redesigned the MyHeat area of the web site, including implementation of a "favorite games" function.
PERL DEVELOPER - Epylon.com, 1/00 Created series of perl scripts to convert xml files containing news articles to html-ready include files and enter information about the articles into a database. Then created scripts to find articles in the database, based on user requests, and display them within html templates. SKILLS USED: PERL, SQL, XML, MySQL, MS-IIS, MS-SQL, UNIX(Solaris), NT
SENIOR DATA MANAGER - Internet Profiles, 11/98-10/99 Managed data warehousing and analysis of web site log files for traffic auditing company. Wrote log filters for; format conversion, url reduction, prepending, exclusions, account splitting/combining. Documenting filter from design specification to release notes. QA testing on filters written by other engineers.

DATABASE PROGRAMMER - Online Partners, 6/98 - 10/98 Development of database-driven interactive web applications for online community website including Customer Registration, Credit Card Transaction Processing, Customer Feedback Polls, Entertainment and Event Calendars. Wrote IRC Chat client to monitor and record chat room usage.
