The nurse smiled. “Yes Charlie, but my reality is that I need you to take your pills. If you don’t we’ll have to sick the spiders on you again.”
Charlie weighed the options for a moment, then motioned to the nurse to give him the pills. He wasn’t really afraid of the spiders, but the nurse was cute and maybe if he cooperated he could get a sponge bath out of her.
Charlie wasn’t allowed in the showers. Too many acoustic experiments gone horribly wrong. Doctors hate that.
