Sorry for the lack of posts. The latest and greatest reorg at work has been approaching and is finally here. Well, sort of. There are no details yet. I don't know what I'll be doing or who I'll be working for from one day to the next. And I'm one of the people who is handling it well. Many of my coworkers are at ther end of their frayed nerves.
Of course the chaos has given some of ther higher-ups ideas. Several people are moving to shore up their little kingdoms. I think there's a book in all this.
I'm doing a lot of mental prep work these days, for both the current novel and the next one. I've got some good ideas for the rewrite but I think I'm going to work on a couple short stories before I jump back on the big project.
I've learned more about RV batteries over the past few weeks than I ever expected to need to know. I also installed a new toilet and that actually was easier than I had expected. I had to do a bit of fabrication work to adapt the new toilet to the old mounting, but it seems to be holding water.
